(1)  M.J. Murphy Beauty College signed and returned to the Department the Certification and Agreement and the assurance that the institution has used the applicable amount of funds designated under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students.\

(2)  M.J. Murphy Beauty College will receive a total of $35,066 from the Department pursuant to the institution's Certification and Agreement for Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs.

(3)  As of May 6, 2022, M.J. Murphy Beauty College has distributed $10,375 of Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs as of the date of submission.

(4)  27 students at the institution are eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants to Students under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs. Students are considered eligible if they meet Satisfactory Attendance and Academics for all time blocks while enrolled at M.J. Murphy Beauty College. Our high school students were not eligible to participate in grant disbursement.

(5)  As of May 6, 2022, 11 students have received an Emergency Financial Aid Grant under the CRRSAA and ARP (a)(1) and (a)(4) programs.

(6)  The institution determined which students receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants based on attendance and academic performance and met the guidelines for disbursement, prioritizing grants to students with exceptional needs, such as students who receive Pell Grants. How much students received was determined based on their programs. Students in our 1500-hour Cosmetology course received $1000. Students in our 400-hour Manicuring program received $375.

(7)  Each student awarded Emergency Relief Grant monies signed a "HEERF Award" form granting permission to use their grant allotment towards tuition and/or verifying receipt of their disbursement amount. Students receiving checks have been advised that this grant was for use towards the cost of attendance or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care), or childcare.
